I was 20 with three years of non stop drinking every minute i could get, or at least that i could get without being so sick. The way i overcame that depression was with my music. I have been writing and recording hiphop music since i was 16 prior to my addiction. You know, growing up with booze always around the household and seeing the affects first hand affected me in a way i will never forget for the rest of my life. I still had my job working 6 on 6 off and im thankful for that. Without going to treatment that year, i dont know where i would be right now. I wrote this track on my year sober anniversary date May 18th 2014 and decided to drop the bars over Drakes Poundcake song. Take A Listen and let me know what you think !
